Our initial funding will come from Sovereign Oceans newsletter. It will be published by the team members of the Oceans project.
Supplement for Volume 1, Issue 1
Funding for the Symposium, to be held in Brookings, Oregon, will come from a memorial edition of a magazine featuring photographs of the oceans. Income from sales of the publication will allow the team to go to the conference in Europe to help establish the International Department of the Oceans.
